Analia Saban, Bouquet of Flowers within Circuit Board, 25/30, 2014

Special for Venice Art Walk & Auction's 35th Anniversary - Analia Saban’s benefit print “Bouquet of Flowers within Circuit Board (with Green Line)” was intended by Saban as a metaphor for the mission of the Venice Family Clinic. The ubiquitous circuit board, a symbol for our modern life, becomes the home for a flourishing bouquet of flowers. Like a patient of the Venice Family Clinic, this bouquet in the circuit board, enables the unique vine to thrive and prosper. “Bouquet of Flowers within Circuit Board (with Green Line)” by Analia Saban was printed by The Lapis Press, each “vine” is hand drawn by the artist in crayon. Each print is signed and numbered on the back.

Born in 1980 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Saban currently works in Los Angeles and lives in New York. She received a BFA in Visual Arts from Loyola University in New Orleans in 2001, followed by an MFA in New Genres at the University of California in Los Angeles in 2005. Saban’s works are represented in the collections of the Hessel Museum of Art at Bard College, the Hammer Museum at UCLA in Los Angeles, Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, Norton Museum of Art in Florida, and Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
